# Drogheda — Financials (🔴 RED ITEM — placeholder)

## Why it's red

The project is scaling to **hundreds of cabinets** across four BUs with a hard
**30-units-by-August** target, while mid-crisis on reliability. Cost, cashflow, and
margin are as much a risk as the thermal/backend issues — and currently un-modeled
here.

## What goes here (to fill in)

- [ ] **Unit economics** — per-variant cost → price → **margin** (the BOM cost
      rollup already exists: [[03-Architecture-Hardware/BOM-master|BOM-master]];
      HBOX ≈ 8,041 MXN + 24 V cabinet ≈ 6,365 MXN). Add the sell price + %.
- [ ] **Quote vs cost** — Helgen vs alternate-supplier ("Israel") deltas already in
      the BOM sheet; decide sourcing and lock landed cost.
- [ ] **Per-BU rollup** — ICAVE / TIMSA / EIT / LCT unit counts × unit cost/price →
      revenue + COGS per terminal (counts live in the component sheet).
- [ ] **Cashflow / billing** — milestone billing vs delivery; deposit terms;
      currency (MXN/USD components — Ardusimple/Phoenix are USD-priced).
- [ ] **Burn / runway** — hackathon + rework + PCB NRE + pilot batch.
- [ ] **Base-station + infra** — AS-PRO-CORS base station, SIM/data plans (Telcel
      per-unit), server/caster hosting.
- [ ] **Warranty / rework reserve** — the field-failure rework is a real cost line.

## Open questions

- [ ] Target gross margin per unit? Current implied margin from the sheet?
- [ ] Who owns the finance model (Adriana?) and where is the canonical sheet?
- [ ] MXN vs USD reporting; FX assumption.
